Often proposals for large projects like this — which comprise architecture, landscape and engineering — can feel disjointed and lacking a coherent style. Fortunately, this report which presents the proposed redevelopment of Abu Dhabi's Mina Zayed port is doesn't suffer from this fate. From the introductory environmental analysis and site analysis through to the proposals, all plans, diagrams and illustrations were reworked to use a consistent colour palette and style.
The resulting 220 page book — case bound with a foiled cover and fold out pages — successfully paints an alluring picture of how the port can be sensitively developed and enhanced, retaining a strong sense of its existing identity.
